Firm. Comfortable. Heavy.
Got a full and a twin for my kids' bunk bed. We like our beds firm and these are firm and comfortable. This may be too firm for some but perfect for us. They have a thin layer of cushion on top, not too much that you would sink in. And still thin enough for bunk bed use. We had a"cheap"name brand mattress previously. You can feel each spring underneath and makes the"boing"sound when you move around on the bed. You do not feel any springs with the Sunrising mattress. I slept on the bed as well when I fall asleep with the kids and wake up feeling pretty good. One side note is that they are HEAVY. Trying to put the twin up onto the top bunk bed definitely require 2 people. Not looking forward to when I need to change the sheets. Other than that these are great mattresses.
