Relieved my back issues and provides firm, underlying support

I would constantly wake up with back pain from my other memory foam mattress, and I knew I needed something different after throwing my back out. I lift heavy weights regularly without many problems, so it’s always odd to throw one’s back out by doing something benign. I figured buying something with heavy gauge springs could not hurt, since it most likely enables the bed to remain rigid, not allowing the body to sink in too much. My old bed would let the heaviest parts of my body sink in too much, which put my spine out of alignment. This is the type of bed you sleep on top of, not melted inside of, which is what I personally wanted. I might also add, this is one of the few beds I can sleep on my stomach with and not wake up with back pain, since it doesn’t let my hips sink in much. I’ve been really happy with the purchase. It’s so cheap that I figured if it was too hard, I could buy a couple inches of latex to add on top, but I’ve been rather happy with the way it feels. Definitely a steal at this price, and I think having a sturdy foundation - heavy gauge springs in this case - serves as a great starting point to any bed, as you can always add other layers of cushioning.
