Not Hot; No Pain

I am a 27 years old, 5'10"height and160 Ib. male who sleeps hot and prefers firm beds. I'm more of a side sleeper, and my last mattress kind of made me both side and stomach. This bed has been too good to me, and has me both on my back and sides. My last mattress was an old innerspring mattress with a 4 inch 'cooling' gel memory foam topper. I appreciated how firm it started, but through the night I would get hot, sink, get hotter, get sore, sweat, etc. It had gotten worse with lower back pain the last 4 years until I finally bit the bullet after a year+ of research on my next mattress.I have compared this against all the more commonly seen internet mattress names like Casper, Ghost, Avocado, and Purple for their respective cooling properties. Ultimately through researching and reading reviews, I landed on this. With the 8"sunrising, the latex foam layer is short and you only notice it because the opposite of the mattress is straight up ontop of the pocket coil springs. Laying flat on this mattress I could practically feel my blood flowing evenly and pain dissipating from my lower back. It's been near a month now and I'm just loving this. It's such a luxury to not wake up in a pool of sweat and lower back pain. This is a firm mattress with a just-soft-enough topper. I wish I could compare with the 10", but I'm still very happy. The sidewall support seems perfect, bedtime activities are no problem, I don't notice my partner moving around in bed. Sometimes I have nightmares of waking up in this bed with its springs collapsing, due to all the warnings I got from people who say you can't get a good mattress under $1000. Don't listen to them. This is it. They're all wrong. I'm right. Just check out the other reviewers on this. Check out their website and transparency on costs and profits.
